    Bright red ruby color.

  • Aroma:

    Intense, essentially fruity, with time develops notes of raisins, strawberry jam, spices, such as fine herbs, black pepper and honey.

  • Tasting:

    Intense and silky palate, showing mature tannins and referring to olfactory notes in the aftertaste. It is a balanced wine, persistent and very pleasurable.

  • Pairing:

    Pastas, risottos, game meat and red meat.

  • Winemaking:

    Soil and microclimate: Granitic-sandy, low organic matter and excellent drainage. Vineyard: The vineyards are managed through the espalier system, with a maximum production of of 1,5 kg per lant and planting density of 4000 plants/ha. In order to obtain the correct vegetative balance of the plant, green prunings are applied to the vines and the production of grapes per plant is also reduced. Harvest: Manual harvesting with selection of bunches in the vineyard. Winemaking: Elaborated from the Malbec and Cabernet Sauvignon grapes, the grapes are identified by mapping the plots of soil to compose a wine of unique originality. The fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks, in the traditional system, with cold maceration of 36 to 60 hours and a total maceration period ranging from 14 to 18 days, for the extraction of the compounds present in the peels. After the malolactic fermentation and decanting, the wines are blended after defining the percentage of each one, remaining for another 12 months in the tanks until their bottling. This wine performs at least 4 years of thinning in the bottle before being launched to the market. The wine is not filtered in order to keep its natural characteristics intact.
